I am a Software Engineer and current thesis-based Master of Science student in Computer Science at the University of Victoria, where I also completed my Honours Bachelor of Computer Science. My academic and applied research focuses on Generative Diffusion Models, Mobility Data Analysis, Large-Scale Data Processing, Simulation on Operations Research, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.. I have a strong foundation in building scalable data pipelines, developing deep learning architectures (such as PyTorch-based diffusion models and lightweight Temporal Convolutional Networks), and implementing explainable AI techniques. My technical versatility spans across robust backend engineering, high-performance computing, and cross-platform tool development.
• System Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Utilized New Relic observability pipelines to actively monitor backend microservices, pinpointing critical latency hotspots to enable targeted performance tuning for high-traffic endpoints.
• Data Consistency & Debugging: Resolved complex data consistency failures within the inventory system by debugging asynchronous request/response lifecycles, successfully restoring 100% reliability for in-game store transactions.
• Tooling & Workflow Optimization: Engineered internal cross-platform debugging tools using Node.js and C#, which reduced issue reproduction time and streamlined workflows for both QA and Engineering teams.
